My father was a guitarist and used to play a lot of James Taylor songs and British folk songs from the '70s. He got me my first guitar when I was 10. I grew up listening to the Beatles, Paul Simon and Gilbert O'Sullivan. These artists were a big influence on me.

What was the most unusual or memorable gig you've ever played?
Once I played at an event at a fitness smoothie cafe between speeches from a very passionate and unorthodox motivational speaker. When I came back from my break there was a gun on the coffee table in front of me. I didn't ask questions -- just finished my set and packed up quickly.

I saw Paul McCartney in Fort Lauderdale when I was in high school. It was absolutely amazing! He opened with "Hello Goodbye" and after he had played a full-set with his band he performed solo, just him and his acoustic guitar for another 45 minutes before bringing the band back up.
I was impressed with his ability to stand there alone, holding the attention of thousands of people and perform so flawlessly.

At long last the new EP on which I have been working tirelessly has been released! I'm really happy with the way everything turned out. The album sounds and looks amazing, just how I had imagined it. Now I have a bit of a break until the next performance in Debary. So, in the meantime, I will be working on some online marketing, arranging for digital distribution, spending time with OTSB.
